OJ is a shadow poster guy on Tnet. He often wins POTD but never gets credit for it. I am curious as to why not?
He joined in 1998 "Coot kickin', Packer lovin', Hill Watchin', woo hoo hatin', smack bottom, Braves choppin', ultra-Disturbed, Curl Creek Lawn Service ownin', orange glasses wearin' Clemson Tiger fan!".
His countdown thread is a good place to get some TUs, but it is much more than that.
Most days in my life, I will not encounter anyone to talk to except the old lady. The friendly banter here is a plus for my mental health (according to experts).
I feel welcome here as "one of the guys and gals". I post more than once. I don't need anymore TUs as most on Tnet know me by now. I like the morning uplift Tnet fans give me here. It gets my day going in a positive way. I try to poke some fun at yall, and yall at me.
Some who consider them selves purist (not OJ) (kermit, 2K, inspector, etc) get upset if one post more than once, but I don't care. I guess they see this t as just a place to get unearned TUs. Ease up and have some fun -------- nothing serious will ever happen on Tnet. I try to post some "fun" things to maybe earn my way. I don 't know what that means.
CBProf® and BigAl31® make this a must read every day if you are a Clemson fan.
If I interact too much, put me on ignore and your stress will be relieved.

To help out the real posters, Us Route 123 runs from my home to Clemson.
If I park downtown, will be home after a game in 20 minutes as most traffic heads north.
My yard is right on the Georgia line, so see Georgia every day. Many fine folks live in UpState Georgia, but as sholes in Atlanta rule the state.

In April 2024, Dabo and Kathleen Swinney hosted the 15th All In Ball. The All In Ball is an important part of Swinney’s All In Team Foundation. The Tiger CU identifies the All In Team Foundation’s Mission Statement:
“The mission statement of Dabo’s All In Team Foundation is to “raise awareness of critical education and health issues in order to change lives of people across the state of South Carolina.”
According to the foundation’s website, the annual ball is the main way they accomplish that mission statement, as it provides a way for the organization to change lives across the state.”
https://thetigercu.com/19967/timeout/the-all-in-ball-a-preview/
The 2024 event was a huge success! According to Dabo’s All In Team:
“2024 All In Ball Recap
On Friday, April 5th, 2024, we hosted our 15th annual All In Ball - presented by The Shepherd Hotel of Downtown Clemson - in Clemson Football's Poe Indoor Practice Facility. The theme was "CASINO"...and everybody went ALL IN for the cause! The night saw appearances from a number of special guests including our guest speaker, Tajh Boyd, Clemson Football great and newly announced Clemson Hall of Famer! Together we raised over $1.4 MILLION for various health and education initiatives across the state of South Carolina. Thank you to everyone involved in making this such a special night!”
https://www.dabosallinteam.com/Default.asp?ID=212&pg=All+In+Ball
If interested in attending next year, here is what you can expect – and how to attend according to the Tiger CU:
“Guests at the event can expect to hear from speakers, participate in silent auctions and mingle with numerous different people and organizations that all come together to support health education in South Carolina.
Once again, this year’s sponsor is The Shepherd Hotel, located in downtown Clemson. The event is invitation-only, but interested donors can visit the foundation’s website to join the waiting list to purchase tickets for the 2025 All In Ball. Organizations wishing to sponsor the event can also be placed on a waitlist.”

All In Ball Has Makes a Huge Impact:
Since 2009, Dabo’s All In Team Foundation has raised and donated over $11.2 MILLION to our core focus areas of Breast Cancer Research, The Family Effect, ClemsonLIFE, and Call Me MISTER, as well as to hundreds of South Carolina-based research teams, non-profits, and

This would mean nothing except Dabo is not fake.. He uses his celebrity to make things better.
He has more than earned his pay check at Clemson. He makes an insane amount of money, but made that possible himself.. He has been a bargain.

15 - Deandre McDaniel Made 15 Interceptions

During his playing time, ClemsonTigers.com described Clemson DB DeAndre McDaniel (2007-2010) as follows:
“There are some football players that strike fear into the hearts of opponents. Players with the speed, strength, athleticism, and instincts that wreak havoc on the gridiron can be an opposing coach’s nightmare. Those are the ones who get special attention when the gameplan is being formulated every week. Those are the ones the opposing team seeks out on each and every snap. Those are the ones whom teammates look to for leadership and fans look to for highlights.”
https://clemsontigers.com/clemson-football-game-program-feature-deandre-mcdaniel/
Outstanding!!
According to Sports-Reference.com, McDaniel registered the following statistics at Clemson:
DeAndre McDaniel (2007-2010): - 15 Interceptions Returned for 162 Yards (10.8 Average) - 1 Interception Return for Touchdown - 1 Fumble Return for Touchdown - 275 Tackles (173 Solo and 102 Assisted) - 1 Punt Return for 7 Yards
https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/deandre-mcdaniel-1.html
In 2020, Sports Illustrated rated DeAndre McDaniel as one of the Ten Best DBs in Clemson history:
“6. DeAndre McDaniel (2007-2010)
McDaniel was a first-team All-American in 2009 becoming the first defensive back to earn the honor since Tye Hill in 2005. As a senior, he posted 75 tackles and four interceptions. He recorded 11 career interceptions. In addition to a 28-yard fumble return in the 2008 Gator Bowl against Nebraska, McDaniel is also remembered for his 2009 bone-crushing hit on Christian Ponder after a 27-yard interception return late in the game against the Seminoles.”
https://www.si.com/college/clemson/football/clemsons-10-best-top-defensive-backs-in-program-history
As that SI article illustrates, McDaniel is often remembered for a particular interception against FSU. According to ClemsonTigers.com:
“Late in the fourth quarter, Florida State was attempting to mount a drive to cut into Clemson’s nine-point lead. Christian Ponder threw a pass toward the Seminole sideline that McDaniel broke on perfectly and intercepted. As he ran down the sideline for 27 yards, the Tiger safety saw Ponder running towards him and, as he pointed his finger at the Seminoles’ signal-caller, he immediately knew how the play would end.
“When I caught the ball and started running, I thought I was going to score,” explained McDaniel. “Then I saw one of their guys running ahead of me, so I knew I wasn’t going to get there. I saw him (Ponder) and I knew it was him and me. I honestly don’t know why I pointed. I guess it was the emotion. I just hit him.”
Ponder separated his shoulder and missed the remainder of the 2009 season. McDaniel became a YouTube sensation as the clip of his ferocious hit made the rounds on the internet.”
https://clemsontigers.com/clemson-football-game-program-feature-deandre-mcdaniel/
Video of that interception against FSU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfI6UZ8pwP0
After Clemson:
According to Wikipedia:
New Orleans Saints
McDaniel went undrafted in the 2011 NFL draft. On July 25, the day the NFL lockout ended, McDaniel announced on his Twitter account that he was signed by the New Orleans Saints. He was waived on August 30.
Indianapolis Colts
McDaniel was signed to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts on September 7, 2011. He was released on September 12.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeAndre_McDaniel
McDaniel has been part of the Clemson coaching staff for the past decade. According to ClemsonTigers.com:
“DeAndre McDaniel is in his 10th season on staff at Clemson, including his third as the program’s senior defensive assistant and his first assisting as the program’s nickelbacks coach.”
https://clemsontigers.com/coaches/deandre-mcdaniel/
In 2023, DeAndre McDaniel was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame. According to USA Today:
“McDaniel was an All-America safety in 2009 and 2010 and is the only player in Clemson history with at least 15 interceptions and 15 tackles for loss. McDaniel is in his eighth season on staff with the football program and his first as Clemson’s senior defensive assistant.”

U.S. Route 15 is a 791.7-mile-lomg eastern United States highway that runs from the north end at I-86 in Painted Post, New York near Rochester to the south end at US 17 ALT in Walterboro, South Carolina, also going through Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. The 158.8 miles of US 15 in South Carolina run from Walterboro to the North Carolina line near McColl.
US 15 passes Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Gettysburg National Military Park. Gettysburg is a borough of 8,000 people, the county seat of Adams County. It was settled in 1780 and incorporated in 1806. It is the site of the Civil War Battle of Gettysburg from July 1 to July 3, 1863, the bloodiest battle of the Civil War, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties. With a Union victory, the battle was considered the turning point of the war, ending Confederate aspirations of an independent nation. Union Major General George Meade's Army defeated General Robert E. Lee's Army, forcing Lee's retreat and ending his invasion of the North. On November 19, President Lincoln visited to dedicate the Gettysburg National Cemetery and deliver his 271-word Gettysburg Address, considered one of the most famous speeches in history.

Enjoy her academic success and big step to college. Congratulations to all as it is a family success. Great job. Will the parents shed some tears?
