Easily skalski ... remember any time boulware had to even attempt to move laterally or in coverage.. stiff and slow as a board.

It seems to be pretty common sentiment here that Skalski is better than Bouleware was. I think we forget what a great college LB Bouleware was. His leadership was huge as is Skalskis, but I will give Ben the slight nod there. His stats are significantly better than Skalskis and his senior year was even somewhat comparable to Simmons in regards to TFL's. I'd take Ben pretty comfortably but both are great players that are pretty similar in a lot of ways.

Venables schemed Boulware into being the great LB he was at Clemson, but Boulware was only effective inside the box.
In the event that the opposing team schemed Boulware to a different responsibility, he was usually exposed for his limited agility and speed.
Athletically Skalski is far more advanced than Boulware, but Boulware was better at rushing the QB and getting in the backfield in general. That is the reason for the high number of TFLs.
Both are extremely smart players who know Venables' scheme inside and out which is very important to have out of a MLB.
