As a kid who grew up in Clemson since 1977, I used to like the fact that we owned our instate rival, we owned our conference. Since those no longer exists I'm completely on board with letting Nike update the uniforms and go with multiple color helmets etc. May as well use that like every other team to help recruit since you won't be walking into a living room pointing at the record you have versus your rivals.

Me too I been a fan since mid-fifties (earliest I can remember) My Clemson letter sweater is 11 years older than you.

The way Dumbo is scared of Spurless, we should change our mascot to the Clemson Mud dawgs. Seriously, he reminds me of Coach Klein from that movie "The Waterboy".
