Should Dabo reach out to him, like they did Belk, to see if he is ready to come home and play DB? Only reason he went to SC was because they said he wouldn’t play DB Bit that’s where he is headed with Hlinski coming

What are the chances Hillinski never steps on the field seeing as his brother committed suicide as a possible result of (CTE / Again CTE it seems will become footballs new scapegoat to any wrong doing)
Just saying is there a chance the parents tell the kid to say no thank you, because at SCAR he is going to get hit and hit alot.

No there isn't his entire family is moving to Columbia for him to go to USuC and them to watch him there. Higher chance that he goes somewhere else than for his family to tell him not to pursue his dream. As well as his sister is enrolling at USuC.

I feel bad for the kid and his family for the death of his brother and their child but how they conned this kid into thinking Columbia is where he and his family should move is beyond me. I'm sure they skirted rules as far as giving his other siblings free rides which I'm sure they could pass off as anything but how on Earth some of these guys don't see right through Muschamp's lies is perplexing. The reason I say that is because Muschamp cares about 1 thing and that is wins and losses. If that wasn't the truth he wouldn't have over 100 kids committed to him in a 4 year period. He is about getting a kid until something better comes along and then they push those first kids out the door. Sure they make it look good but I don't for one second think Muschamp cares about anything but how he is perceived. If he can pull the wool over the eyes of some of these kids more power to him but those types aren't usually the ones that thrive at a place like Clemson.

I feel like Muschamp doesn’t even like coaching on game day. He’s obsessed with recruiting. They win “ we goin recruitin tomorrow! “ lose “ we goin cruitin!”. He’s just obsessed with it

His parents are actually moving to Charleston and his older brother will be attending MUSC. His family wanted to get far away from California and it was basically down to living in Charleston if Ryan played at South Carolina or living in Atlanta while he played at UGA. If I were his parents I’d be pleased with that

He doesn't jump out at me on film . I k ow that some services have him ranked highly but I wouldn't trade him for Taisun Phommachanh .. who fits our style of play perfectly .
Hilinski reminds me of Chris Smelley . Remember how highly thought of Smelley was coming out of high school ? Comes to Cooterville and disappears .

He might be a little further along at this point than Phommachanh, but our guy has way more upside. I actually see a bit of Bentley in Hilinski too. They won't have to work with him on gaining a bunch of weight because he's pretty well filled out.

You really want to compare him to Smelley? Smelley sucked.... he was a THREE star recruit out of Alabama. He was the 11th pro QB in his class of 2006 and like 235 national prospect.
Hillinski is a VERY high 4 Star out of California, could be a 5 before the cycle is over, he is the number 2 pro style QB in the nation, and the rivals 55th rank national recruit.

The issue is that even if Dak Joiner wanted to trasfer to Clemson (where he should have gone all along) Muscoot would NEVER be as gracious as Dabo and allow him to do it. Remember, we are talking about the SEC. You know, the conference where it "just means more". In Dak's case, it really means 'you're just more screwed".
Unfortunately for the kid he bought into the lie he was being told by the featured ones in coot town and will have to live with the ramifications.

Our football coaches do not tell high school recruits lies. Muschamp is going to put the BEST 11 players on the field regardless if you are a true freshman or 5th year senior. If they both come in and Dak is better at the time he will be the QB. Simple as that. But I will say this, he is too explosive and athletic to not be on the field at some position.

Almost everyone else offered him as a DB. DB gives him his best shot at getting a big paycheck from the NFL. He should’ve followed his teammate to Clemson instead of letting the 4* QB career killer Muschamp dangle the carrot in front of him.
