There's a lot of great ones, but one that sticks out to me involved Tajh's presser. He was picking between Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon (no one had a clue where he was going, projections all over the place. Chip Kelly even attended his press conference).
Pretty sure it was someone on this board (might've been TI's board, idk this was like 7 years ago people) that said they lived in the same Virginia town as Tajh's family and they saw his whole family come into Walmart and buy up all the Clemson gear they could find (this was like an hour before the decision). The post was pretty sirius.
Half the replies were calling shenanigans, the other half elated with joy. The rest...is history, but I haven't forgotten the Walmart prophet of Virginia. I hope he's saving on rollbacks to this very day.

I wasn't around when this happened but have gathered from reading some archival posts from the whole "Geno's Mom" episode must have been a biggie. I almost wish I had been here to see all that....I believe this R. Gary recruitment(as we find out all that really happened) will go down in history.

5*'s Steph Anthony and Tony Steward announcing within hours of each other in a year we really needed LBs (2011). We took 5 that year including a lowly 3* named BJ Goodson.

2001 when we signed Roscoe Crosby/Airese Currie/Higgins/Ben Hall and the infamous Tymere Zimmerman - amongst others. Was the first year I really started following recruiting. We all thought this was an amazing class of receivers. Shows how far we've come. Crosby could have been a stud though.
Did Zimmerman ever get cleared?
