Pretty simple. Protecting the stars, which is what brings in the money. Pickett may be the worst quarterback in the NFL right now. Without significant improvement, he's going to get cut at the end of the season one way or the other. Who cares what happens to him?

That was his first start in the NFL and he was a #1 draft pick. Pretty obvious you have no idea on the subject you are discussing.

Listening to all the announcers and analysts, the call on Jarrett is gonna make the NFL revisit the "new" rules. You can't play defense if that was roughing. They just need to blow the whistle if a defender gets within 2 yards of the QB and call it a sack!

Regardless of whether it was legal or not. Don't know if Shaq meant for it to turn out like that, but I don't blame Pickett for getting pissed.

before he threw it. I don't think there was any ill intent. Kenny "fake slide" Pickett also complained about an earlier hit on a slide he felt should have been an unnecessary roughness call; isn't it ironic.

He'd have been fine with missing the hit and him gaining 10 extra yards or completing the pass for a 1st down or a TD.

Lawson initiated tackle at waist then Pickett jumped backwards and Lawson's trajectory ended up lower. Dude was outside the box and should know what happens out there happens out there. Kenny probably gets clear nail polish after his manicure...so efff his sensitive self
