Dabo, Wes and company are a lot smarter than me. But, to the untrained eye, here is what I expect to see from the Tiger D.

1. Man defense on WRs. One deep safety, or even 0 deep safeties at times.
2. Load the box. Attack with 6 rushing on the majority of plays. 7 at times.

FSU will run more zone reads. So, Clemson will have to be ready to set the edge and have someone fill the gap when the runner cuts it inside. That's a whole lot easier to do if you aren't worried about receivers winning 1 on 1 battles.

FSU fans are not at all fond of DJU. Most have been calling for Brock to start after the second loss. But, FSU fans aren't thinking Brock will come in and light up the Tigers. They are just thinking it can't be any worse. Most are saying, "You gotta see if Brock can be the guy next year. Play him now and find out."

And, most are realizing, "What the heck are you doing making him the starter against possibly the best defense in the country?"

My prediction, seriously, is that the Nole offense will not score a point until Dabo calls the dogs off an no starter is on the field for Clemson.

This may turn into a 3-book game. You might see a guy readng a book at the start of the second quarter.

Appreciate the sentiment…but we are nowhere even remotely close to being the best defense in the country

Bretfsu, I always enjoy your input and your opinion on this Saturday’s game. I agree with you, but this is how a team gets caught with their britches down. FSU has nothing to lose. Tigers best be hitting on all cylinders Saturday.

I hope you coach has figured DJ out and gets the next man ready to play next year

If The Lord had made DJ the first plague on Egypt the might have avoided the rest.
