You are correct. He appears to not be seeing the ball well when batting. He got hit in the face with a pitch while playing summer ball and it may be causing the problem..

Then maybe he should open his stance up a little bit. Right now he is in a closed power hitter stance very similar to Chris Davis from the orioles. Perhaps more of an Aaron judge type stance?

Swings for the fence every at bat. If he could hit the ball to the opposite field he would be a clutch hitter. Instead he is an out 75 percent of the time. Williams is a true hitter as is Cromwell

If u support someone hitting less than .250 in the top 3 of our order then obviously you’re a coot that doesn’t want what’s best for our team

Sometimes you just have to set your big hitter on the bench for a game and let him watch from there.

Although his batting ave is not good his OBP is still pretty good. He is getting on base and scoring runs and to say he is hurting the team is nonsense.

If y’all ignore me the way beer ignores getting base hits with men on base then y’all will do just fine

He only walks when teams are scared to pitch to him because he may hit a bomb

When we have men on base and there aren’t bases open and they pitch to him, he can’t get on base. His on-base percentage is still high because early in the season he walked against mediocre pitching and because teams were still fearful of him. As we can see going back to last weekend and now this weekend the book is out on him. teams are pitching to him and he can’t get hits enough and he’s not walking anymore either because they are pitching to him

even the best players have streaks where they struggle getting hits and finding holes. I guess as soon as he gets out of this slump you will come on here saying how great he is and you knew he would get out of it

I wouldn’t say hurting the team but he is not helping much right now. But no way do you bench a player like Beer

I'd like to see him swap with Cromwell. I'd rather he walk in front of Williams rather than Cromwell.
