He decommitted back in April so he could take other visits. Clemson moved-on and landed 4-star commitment Ziare Patterson.

I suspect you know but I'll answer anyway. As I understand it (and I have no inside info), he wanted to be committed yet take all his visits. Coach views committed as we are holding the spot you said you'd take and you're done looking around. If you are still visiting you arent viewed as a commitment.

It didn't feel right to me when he committed. It was a big surprise and seemed rushed.
There was no incident. He was on cloud 9 but reconsidered after returning to California.
It's all good for everyone. Because he decommitted so early, our staff was able to move on so no harm was done.
Korey Foreman will be a Day 1 starter and impact player as a freshman.

de-comitt way back then, than next week and we have nobody of note to take his vacancy. IMO that type of dude is going to flip at some point anyway. Nkemdiche comes to mind as the last and the way that ended up..we (as Clemson Fans) were relieved he didn't come to Clemson. He and his brother were trouble from the jump at Ole Miss and he eventually got busted taking cash on the side among other things....he was a great player but Clemson dodged that bullett with his decomittment.
So maybe this one doesn't end so badly for Foreman. Maybe he does well. But its never good to have wafflers on your recruiting board. It sucks the wind out of it. Good luck.

Don't get your hopes up to high, he was a lock to clemson at one time too.
Really though he seems to be a lock to whoever the last school he visited is, has he cancelled his visit to LSU?

Apparently he was on the way to Clemson from Atlanta Airport and noticed he was low on fuel, so he chose Athens because he knew he wouldn't make it to Clemson.
