I know things like this have been posted but --

Fans of the SEC tend to fool themselves.
It is a good football conference, many yeas it is the best. I enjoy watching most of the teams in the SEC.

I am not a fan of any conference, I am a fan of Clemson. I don't feel a feather in my cap when Florida State wins the NATTY. Clemson against SEC teams has fared much, much better than them playing themselves.

It does get old with SEC fans claiming they are at a disadvantage being forced to play each other.
That is just not true, repeating it often does not make it true.

The SEC is good because Alabama is great. Sprinkle in a little LSU and that is about it. Over the last decade the other teams have been average as to performance. It is true the vast amount of $$ they bring in from their main sponsor (ESPN) results in more talent than most teams even think on. That talent does not seem to be giving them a game day advantage.

Case in point is the 2021 UGA team (or pick one from the past few years). Talent is off the chart. If they don't win the NATTY this year something is wrong. You could say the same as to last few years. Their only top 20 win is a one score win over a middle of the ACC Clemson. Alabama destroyed them. Who will bet they win their first NATTY since 1980 this year?

So far the mighty SEC is 0-4 in Bowls and have only played non Power Five teams.
Missouri, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State have been crushed by "so called" lesser teams.

Only 1 team can win a Natty…so if you don’t win one you aren’t a good team? So Clemson has only had 3 good teams ever? Every other team was bad, right, so Dabo’s “best” coaching job is with a team that stinks?

Also how many bowls that were played has the ACC won this year?

For a school that likes to say you don’t care about the ACC you sure talk about the ACC a lot. Just admit you wish you could play with big boys in the SEC. UGA owns you….43-18-4.
