According to WIS TV the sorry out of conference schedule, as well as, their tourney loss to UGa. killed their chances.

His out of conference schedule was extremely weak. When you play in a weak basketball conference, you schedule someone with a resume. They played like 2 ranked teams all year.

Well, to put it into perspective, think of all those teams

we had that started 15-2, 12-3, 14-2, etc. and then started the ACC schedule and finished 19-13, 17-15, 18-13 (not exact records, but close). If had been in the SEC, we would have finished like 24-8, 23-3, etc. but really because of the marshmallows we played prior to the conference schedule we would not have been a tournament team......just like the Cawks are this year!
