Could you imagine how pissed you'd be if you were A&M or Missouri and you just bailed from a conference where payouts favored the bigger programs and all of a sudden the SEC did the same?
That being said, I have a hard time imagining the SEC would do this. Would take some form of a majority vote, and who would vote for this? Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida....maybe UGA? I don't see any other SEC school being in favor of such a move.

My thoughts, the same. Except I don't think Florida or Auburn would be in favor with their recent past. If this were 5 years ago, I'd see more programs being onboard, including UGA, TN, FL.

actally, A&M was one of the schools getting a bigger cut, but then they got upset when the longhorns were going to get even more from the lhn. Apparently A&M getting more than baylor and iowa state was okay, but when the longhorns wanted to get some extra, they decided to bail.

Yeah, that's absolutely true - just saying A&M would still be second fiddle to the Alabamas/Floridas/LSUs of the SEC.
