SC new baseball coach takes shots at Clemson

I saw that during his press conference to be introduced as SC new baseball coach he took a few swipes at Clemson & the upstate in general. Sad really that during a press conference which should be all about them they still can’t help mentioning Clemson several times. All I can say is talk is cheap old man wait until you at least play a game .

You ought to see what the Richland “leaders” did to Blythewood. Took a lovely semi-rural area and with the greedy builders turned it into developments now have drive-by shooting where once there was a pine forest. In the past 4 years, I’m guessing that they have cit down at least half a million trees while clear cutting.

He said something along the lines of how much better it was to be in the midlands of SC than the upstate. I think he refer to Clemson as “that team up north “. You know how they are kinda condescending in their tone.

Don’t believe anybody said they were offended. It’s s just strange & sad that Clemson dominates their thoughts even when they are introducing a new coach. No reason to even mention Clemson unless a question about them is brought up which is not what happened when he took his little shots.
