Nobody with the same last name as the head coach is gonna get fired I think even as big a pile of crap as we are you see one offensive coach dismissed and one defensive coach dismissed, and no other legitimate changes

Those are significant changes. You must be referring to another team 🙄
Integrating coaches into a team is not a trivial task, nor is it a silver bullet. There has to be buy-in by the players, schemes explained, understood, practiced, and refined before improvement in the play within that unit are visible and can positively impact the game.
Replacing coaches is not just “plug-and-play”.

Exactly. Tom Allen just got here and doesn't have the type of players needed for his scheme. At the same time, he needs to recognize that and stop putting the players in so many man, one on situations and blitzing with straight up man to man coverage. More zone coverage and zone blitzes maybe?

If my sons wanted to coach I would have made them stand on their own two feet and go struggle somewhere at any level to be exposed to other coaching styles and philosophies. That’s the profession. Make contacts and connections that you might want on your own staff one day. There’s just no way you earn any respect under the protective umbrella of your father. Dabo is enabling them and stunting their development.

If those kids really want to coach they should go out on their own to other programs like little Beamer (sorry) did. Sure Dabo could help them find jobs but maybe it would serve them better to learn different ways to do things

Nepo buddies don’t have buyouts, and Neff signs the checks. Could set Dabo up for refusal to follow a direct order. It would be heavily critiqued, but that would certainly be a power move.
I guess it is possible, though, that Dabo’s contract addresses that possibility. Lawyers, at least most of them, aren’t stupid.

Just as a heads up, Neff ain’t giving Dabo a list of people to fire. Not how it works. You guys really don’t understand the relationship between the AD and the big sport coach on campus. (Said that way because for some schools it’s the football coach, some it’s the basketball coach, and for usc it’s the women’s basketball coach)
