Not a slight on Sammy. I loved him as a player and may be the best we’ll ever have
But it’s telling that Wesco averages 34 to Sammy’s 15 in the first four games
Just hints at how good Wesco may be

Loved the way Sammy caught the ball with his hands never letting it get to his body. It was like he ripped the ball out of the air.

Wesco has only played significant snaps in 2 of the 4 games. Against Nancy st he had an early Injury and didn’t play till super late against jawja. Plus they show him toasting corners a couple times each game but the ball goes elsewhere. I think if he was the designed first look more often and played a full 4 games, he would be matching those stats.

Wesco, as a true FR, is not as physically developed as was true FR Sammy Watkins in 2011.
Watkins also didn’t drop easy passes.
I am highly confident that Wesco will be great. He’s not there yet, but we’ll all live watching him develop into a star.

I hate that injuries hampered his potential in the NFL.
Also doesn’t help he was drafted to Buffalo at a time when that franchise was in the gutter.

Troy (I was at the game
Wofford
Auburn (Defending NC)
FSU
Look at the NFL players that caught a ball from T. Boyd that day against Troy! Wow...

That Troy game was the first as OC for Chad Morris at Clemson.
Mike Bellamy had ONE carry......a 75 yd TD....the first half SUCKED! I think I recall some boos. Second half was pretty awesome!
