They both just went publuic for Christ through baptism at NewSpring Church in Anderson. While all of you are bashing Dabo, he had the entire team at church this morning. I LOVE MUY COACH!

You are obviously very religious so I'll try my best not to offend you. Unless he was coaching at a place like Bob Jones University, the strength of Dabo's faith is not incorporated into his job performance review as a head football coach. A head coach is judged on wins and losses; not spiritual victories. People have every right to criticize his coaching decisions.
For me personally, I really don't care if he takes them to a Christian Church, a Hindu Temple, or a Muslim Mosque. As long as it produced more wins, I'd be totally fine with Dabo taking them all to the grocery store every Sunday.
While I'm more spiritual and not very religious (I'm sure you couldn't tell), what I do like about Dabo taking his players on these kinds of trips is that they forge a more powerful bond between the players, strengthen team unity, and help to create a more family-like environment. These things, combined with some pretty good talent, usually lead to a better product on the field.
With all that being said, the decision to suspend Sammy for the Auburn game was still dumb.

Dumb in your opinion. Not in Dabos opinion. Dabo makes millions to run the football team and to grow these guys up, you sit on Tigernet all day and wish you were a head coach. His job is to win, and it is to win in the opinion of what he believes. You sir, need to eat another hotdog. And as far as religious, I'm not religious at all. I just stated the facts on what happened this morning. People are bashing Dabo, he wins games, he inspires young men, some of them get baptized, and they go public. What is religious about taking a stand for my coach. I'll defend my coach sir, and the Clemson Tigers. I don't have to defend Jesus; that's not my job.

I can tell you what He's done in my life, but this isn't the place for that. Go eat another hot dog, and bash Dabo some more.

It's called values bro! He doesn't make them go to church, he provides a way for them to go to church. I love how people like yourself flip the convo to religion, and Jesus, and blah, blah, blah. Football and wins is more important to you, and a persons soul is more important to Dabo. I'm sure in Dabos list its God first, family second, with Clemson being equal to family.

Man, your words sure are persuasive. I am sure he changed his mind after reading your comments. I bet he could just feel the Christian tone of your voice. Even though you said that you ddn't need to be defensive, you follow it up with three posts. By the way, I was at New Spring today and I thought it was awesome.

All day on Tigernet? Dude, I've only got 40 posts to date. Plus, I have a job that keeps me pretty busy, to say the least.
Yes, Dabo does make approximately $2 million to run a football program. However, if he were to have a couple of bad years on the field, then just take a guess how much he'd be making as the head football coach at Clemson University. The answer is $0.
What's religious about stating that we should all stop bashing Dabo because he had the whole team at Church? Did you seriously ask that question? Bro, that's extremely religious.
Since that's where I went to undergrad, I'm all for supporting Clemson University. Plus, my family ties to that school are stronger than you can ever imagine. And so there is no confusion, I want Dabo to be successful at Clemson. He's excitable, charismatic, a good person, an excellent motivator, and truly cares about his players. Overall, I have high hopes for Dabo and hope he is here for the long-haul.
But make no mistake about it, my long-term loyalty is to Clemson University and not a coach. So if I think a coach's decision will have an adverse effect on my team, then I'm going to question it. And you know what? This happens to be the perfect forum for doing just that.
Your post did give me craving for a hotdog, though. I'm starving and that sounds delicious right about now.

you're right Mr. Hawk.......Dabo does care for his players and that's why he tries to make sure that they are reaching HIGHER than the distance it takes to catch a football...........I can now see why your pulse is so low.........

following: "A head coach is judged on wins and losses; not spiritual victories." With that being said there re few that match Sandusky's win/loss ratio. I believe there is much more to a good coach than just wins and losses and while my example is extreme, it shows how my view is true. Sorry for those that disagree but I did take him at what he stated. Go Tigers!

I know it's probably hard to believe, but a buddy and I grew up in the small town of San Dimas, a few miles away from Los Angeles. Me and my best friend Ted Theodore Logan, had a lifelong dream together of starting a rock and roll band called the "Wyld Stallyns". Unfortunately, we were only in high school and were on the verge of failing out as well, and it got to the point where if we didn't pass our upcoming history report, we were going to be separated as a result of Ted's father sending him to military school. But, what we did not know was that we had to stay together to save the future. So, a man from the future named Rufus came to help us pass the report. So, we decided to gather up historical figures that we needed for the report. We were hoping that this would help us pass the report so we could stay together. It worked!

No but helps to actually preach the gospel which Noble isn't good at. He is more about entertaining folks and filling up seats. Telling people what they want to hear instead of what scripture truly says. Watered down gospel. Highway to hell doesn't belong in church
