Not sure what that says about the confidence in the run game. I’m not sure what the thought process is to become one-dimensional against a good defense.

When the O-line can't handle the defensive front and can't get on the LBs, you won't have a run game. Our O-line got whipped..... bad.

The defense is some better than last year, but not enough. They still over-run, take bad angles and often don't wrap up on a tackle.

We called 4 rush attempts in the 2nd half.

OL wasn’t great but acting like it was solely their fault for a lack of run game is dumb.

Riley just completely stopped going to it.

Yup. Play calling was just horrendous. You gonna figure something out. Be creative in the run game or something.

We never hand a running game to abandon. We were one dimensional. That’s why the DC pinned his ears back and set pressure all night.
