Another one bites the dust and endorses the inevitable winner Donald J Trump...good on Desantis for knowing when to call it quits, too bad Nikki will have to be forced out in embarrassing fashion when she loses her home state by 30 points...can't wait to see Hilary Clintons protege get her ### handed to her

Trump should have a PPV event where all the other candidates fight in a battle royal to be VP only for Trump to choke slam the winner and crown Stefanik.

That sort of cowardice suggests she would do the right thing if people were chanting "Hang Elise Stefanik."

Trump would endorse whoever was left running against Trump as they dropped out. I thought DeSantis or Haley could beat Trump in a primary 1-on-1. But that ain't happening now.
How in God's name are we left choosing between Biden and Trump again?!

Yes - I admitted that I has the stupid. I guess DeSantis has to kneel down (or

bend over) to Trump so can get the Trump voters for his run in 2028.

I think the guy is very intelligent and has been a good governor, but I don’t remember a more unnatural national politician who didn’t seem to be having any fun.
DeSantis is a very stiff politician. I think he would be a good executive, but I don’t think his future is particularly bright on the national stage.
It’s not apples to apples, but for a Never Back Down guy, DeSantis perhaps should take some lessons from Joe Biden who finished 4th in the 2020 Iowa Caucuses and 5th in the 2020 N.H. primary. Biden fought on against great odds and won.
I agree that Trump’s essentially an incumbent, but DeSantis is a quitter in my opinion.
Why not fight it out at least through SC?
Never Back Down is laughable.

Full of joy, that one.

Now now now, you are being unkind.
Little Ronnie just suffers from an inferiority complex because of his, ah er, vertically challenged stature.
When he hits his growth spurt and gets to 5’ 6” he’ll be more confident and not as short …not short, I mean, not so quick, that’s it … in making critical campaign decisions.

Yeah, I’d like to hear this one as well. If I were Nikki, I’d just cruise along and see if Trump is convicted and the pubs have to pick her by default.

I’m born/raised and still live in SC. My GGGF fought for the Confereracy. Removing the Confederate Flag was something that should have been done long, long ago. I admire her for doing it.
Besides, you can’t be a traitor to an entity that doesn’t exist…and was in and of itself a traitorous cause.

If I was prone to conspiracy theories, I might speculate that the true movers-and-shakers and moneymen behind the GOP - and who incidentally own the Supreme Court, or at least buy it RV's and million-dollar junkets and keep it in the lifestyle to which it is entitled - would likely be a whole lot more comfortable with Nikki than with Donald. The Kochs - you know, Citizens United, because you know, the Kochs are of course nothing if not ordinary citizens working for the benefit of all - have already shown us pretty durn clearly where they're putting their money.
If I was Donald, I'd probably keep one eye peeled to the Supreme Court. Call me a cynic but I have this suspicion not-so-friendly fire might be incoming.

What I was saying.
Other than maybe Mike Lindell, corporate America would vastly prefer Nikki. So would everyone not Russia or Iran in the rest of the world too. And the Supreme Court, at the end of the day, isn't just largely owned by corporate America after they legalized dark money, they're also an institution of law.
Donald is fundamentally lawless.
There's a gauntlet I don't think many folks appreciate in front of him.
