Well there you go. With those credentials, pretty much sums up why he’s on a professional football game pregame show. Sometimes qualifications don’t matter…ie those to be self declared junior deputy in training moderator.

That was a line that Flair used all of the time. Flair is a larger than life character whose stock in trade was lines like that. No, Flair was never an outstanding football coach or player, but he was entertainment for an awful lot of football fans all the same, so that's why he's relevant, whether you get it or not.

Flair was quite the entertainer. Most don’t know his nature boy name and persona were complete copies, a rip off, of a wrestler named Buddy Rogers. There was not much original about the nature boy, the copy (Flair) that is. Flair definitely promoted the persona to new heights though.

ago and heard a yell, causing me to say it sounded like Flair.
Well, lo and behold here he came walking by with a gal on his arm, greeted us and walked out on a dock. When we walked out the same dock to our boat, there the two sat on the back of a cruiser. We spoke, struck up a conversation and chatted with them about 30 minutes. He was nothing like his ring personna, actually very low key and affable, Fact is he seemed more interested in our lake life than we were about his; thus, we had a good time.
Didn't recognize him at first last night, the crowd seemed to like his appearance.
