They have never even been close to being ahead of us in facilities. I think they may have had an indoor practice facility one year before we did, but our "best is the standard" Ops building was long in the works and totally blew the doors off of anything they had at the time (and still does). The Ops building they slapped up is second rate in every way.

and that the rivalry was about to take a dramatic turn in our favor. Even Spurrier called Dabo to tell him he didn’t even know how they won that game. I’ve never been more sickened by a Clemson loss in my life. #5 shouldn’t have happened. Morris’ play calling cost us that game IMO. That year’s gamecock team was the biggest fraud to ever finish in the top 5 propped up by our crapping in the bed against them and their weak schedule in the SECLeast.

One of the funniest part of it was when he said they would have so much money to pay coaches, that it would attract big name coaches. Basically saying they could get any coach they wanted. You just can’t make this stuff up.
