First of all... Anyone questioning players that we are investing in..I just do not believe you are a D1 coach... We in fact you aren't... Cause you are on TNet
Second...we have recruited several 5-4-3 stars that have not panned out ( Chad Kelly...)
Thirdly.. The majority of players being questioned are coming to Clemson as preferred Walk Ons like Hunter Renfro or Grey Shirting like Stanton Seckinger... I think just this sampling is a huge statement to our staff's ability to evaluate player talent
Fourth... As far as Turner... The kid was getting behind the scenes a big push by Bama and others to take a GreyShirt offer...the Turner kid is good!
Fifth ... Our poor gamecocks on this board have nothing to do but spew negativity on our board cause they know their recruiting is horrible
Sixth... Either all in ... Or be glad you are not me tonight because I am just really really sick and because I am sick I am being made more sick by all these wanna be coaches who simply.... I will not say it.... I hope to feel better if I can get my stomach all emptied out... Which is what we need to do to these Tigernet Know it All's that only have 20 points!
And last.. The best season ever here... And more to come!! And some folks just can't stand it!

Come on ppl tigernet gets it, some like the scholly offer, some don't, and some could less. It's happened he's getting a scholly whether through life his athletic ability or a favor for a friend. We don't need a post ever 5 mins telling us this recruit is so important. This is a forum where ppl state there opinions whether you agree or not. Chances are nothing you can say or do will change someone mind on this subject. I tend to be in the group that don't care, because it's dabo being dabo. The same thing will happen next year probably.

Also, part of successful recruiting is to recruit not just that kid, but that family, that coach/coaches, that school and that region. Getting one kid can mean getting another today or tomorrow.
Remember the kids from Grayson High and the afterthought RB and DB.. Both are producing for us now but we were after that DE. But that relationship between Clemson and that school is strong. When future kids ask Gallman about his time in The Valley..Nothing but love.
You are making investments into the kids and the program.

Look at the starting rosters for the 2015 super bowl. The high school star numbers there are not impressive. Brady pre-dates the rating system, but by all accounts he would have been a 2.
