Just what we need...another undersized guard.

Mar 31, 2013, 9:47 PM

I don't know if he can play or not, but he doesn't really fill our needs.

Brownell may have us in the final four next year

for all I know, which I admit isn't much; but I don't get this either. Not at all.

At what point did 6-1 become undersized at the point?***

Does anyone remember Spud Webb and Mugsy Bogues.

The reason this country has a future.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO

They weren't undersized, they were pint sized.

Brownell is going to try and play a 5 guard offense, I see.

Has Brad gone off his rocker? Unless he knows something we

Mar 31, 2013, 11:17 PM

don't know - transfers? If not, he shouldn'f look for any player less than 6' 7', and even one that size should be a big body with long arms! Out of the country, Europe, Africa, - anywhere to find that big body rebounder defender!

The truth of the matter is he needs a PG and 2 bigs. Our starting point guard is not ACC caliber. Filer is still a work in progress.Roper is and will be a 2 guard.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

agreed...Hall is a liability any time he plays***

This kid is tremendously underrated. He is a quick, and very athletic under the radar PG that plays much bigger than 6'1. He can shoot, and makes smart and crafty passes. With some molding he can be a big plus for us.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This team has a lot of needs

Apr 1, 2013, 12:11 PM

I think everyone would agree that the number one need is a post player. But IMHO, I think our number two need is a point guard who can score. Rod Hall is a huge liability. Its like we play four on five when we have the ball. Shaw can score and we need that.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Great ghost of Pete Maravich....ANOTHER point guard?!?!?!?!?

Apr 1, 2013, 12:49 PM

Does BB not realize that HE is the tallest guy in the dressing room?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Umm we only have 2 PGs

Apr 2, 2013, 7:51 AM

Hall isn't much more than a support player that should be coming off the bench.

Filer hasn't been good or consistent enough to unseat Hall as the starter.

Just because we have needs in the frontcourt doesn't mean we don't have any in the backcourt.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well, UNC/DUKE r so far in front of us I hope this young man

Apr 1, 2013, 1:03 PM

turns out to be a diamond in the rough (Larry Nance?, etc) and really turns it on..becoming a 4* type player...IF he decides to accept our offer.

GoTiGERs!

Depressing...

Apr 1, 2013, 4:33 PM

Apparently, Coach BB knows as much about basketball as I know about making intelligent posts on TigerNet! If we are going to have nothing but point guards, could we at least push the pace and maybe, just maybe, average over 60 points a game next season.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I hole tigernet at fault for this ridiculous post

Apr 1, 2013, 11:09 PM

You would've been better with another decent football article than inviting and egging on derision with an article about a 2 star PG. What are you guys thinking?
