QBs take time to develop.

If Cade was seasoned like Duggan at TCU, then things would have looked much different this year. With a seasoned QB and less whacky turnovers, we wouldn’t be hearing all this negativity. There are some people who can’t see the forest through the trees.

DJ took a huge leap here from his first to second year starting in terms of production and QBR. Cade pretty much matched DJ's 2nd year numbers in his first as starter, so if this trend continues we could see pretty outstanding production at QB next season.

Only difference in DJ from 21 to now is a few pounds. Same awful QB.

Everyone develops differently. He is growing and will continue to get better. He’s already a top 20 QB in my estimation. Question is if (or better yet when) will he grow to elite and what will that look like? I can’t wait to see.

Cade needs a few pieces. He needs a competent OL and a deep threat WR. How people don’t see this kids talent and upside is mind boggling
