Way over the top. I wouldn't want to see my children act that way on such a national stage. It's great ok to be caught up in the moment but there is a certain way to handle oneself. And that's not it. First of all, it was a Seattle Seahawks TEAM victory. And it was not a San Francisco Crabtrees defeat. There are way to many other plays that were made to signify that his efforts, alone, against Crabtree were the single factor. Sorry but I strongly feel that football is a collective effort and 10 others contribute. I acknowledge that he was specifically about that play but you'd have to agree that one would rather have heard words like, us or WE, or credit the DLine for creating pressure. Or even the usual, I'd like to give thanks to God.
Call me old skewl but I believe when you wear a logo, you represent an entire franchise. And a following. Following this mentality, it would be better to handle it like you've been there before and kudos to the team. But our work isn't done yet.
And not to mention these guys could potentially be teammates one day. And when it comes to the workplace, you can dislike your competitors while also projecting respect. Cause you never know when your competitors could be your teammates.
