First off, Alabama beat SCar
Secondly Alabama beat Georgia, along with a way better resume overall than SCar
Ole Miss beat SCar, beat Georgia
Miami faced the end of meaningful football today (LOL), but they barely lost on the road against a good Syracuse team with a Heisman caliber QB (McCord)

No we will not. The top 4 seeded conference Champs get a bye. With those ranking we will be the 5th highest seeded conference champ. So if outside of the top 12 we will get the 12 spot.

It's extremely simple and he's dead on. Of all the conferences, the four highest rated conference champions are seeded 1-4, without any focus on what conference. It could theoretically be all G5 schools. Then, all remaining teams are seeded based on their playoff ranking. If we're the second lowest-ranked school, then we will be an 11 seed. Why is this so hard for y'all to grasp?

Carolina at 12 bama and ole miss get bumped down. Miami will be 11. If SMU wins the ACC Miami will sneak in. If we win Clemson will take the spot from Miami

I don’t know, it’s hard to rank Carolina ahead of two teams that have beaten them. And Ole Miss, frankly, did it easily.
Alabama won today. So did Ole Miss Friday. They won. And they were already ahead of South Carolina.
Their resumes are better. They can’t just reward a win streak.
And to be honest, a bunch of teams would’ve beaten us today. Especially with how our offense stalled.
Clemson on the road is the tallest of tasks, but it was a game we gave to them.
Clemson, a shaky team in terms of final scores against the best teams on its schedule, gave the game. And still almost won.
So, I think you’re just overestimating the magnitude of this win for South Carolina. The reward for them was not as good as it would’ve been for Clemson.
Lastly, if the offense finds complete consistency for some reason, then we’re a national title contender.

They will, though. The committee is looking at what you’ve done down to finish and they’re not going to deny a team that has won six in a row four of them ranked twins as much as we want to #### on them.

They barely lost so I’m thinking, with their resume and a win over Penn state on the road, and how Notrs Dame lost to NIU, and so on, i don’t see why they would deserve to drop so much.
And their other lost was Oregon on the road
