would survive the UofL, ND, GT gauntlet undefeated?
I hoped but I didn't dare think it would happen.
I know Louisville and GT haven't turned out to be as good as we thought in the Summer but I think Louisville is going to win 8 games this year and it's always tough to play GT's offense with 6 days of preparation.
The fact that we not only survived this stretch but are coming out of it playing our best football of the year bodes well for this team down the stretch!

My hand is raised. I said in January that this team would make a strong run at the playoffs in the 2015 deason. Loads of talent, great coaching and a favorable schedule. Liked our chances so much I put down 4 figures at 22 to 1 that we'd make the playoffs. Still believe we will although we must concentrate on one game at a time. 2016 will be another banner year but schedule is harder with tough away games. Go Tigers and bring home my bnacon!!!

I thought ND would be the one that really nailed us - but that was before Zaire went down. If they had Zaire, I'm not sure that we could have won that game.
I thought GT would be tougher, but losing Days to the NFL neutered their entire run threat. I did not expect UofL ot give us a real problem other than the short week and it was away.

I thought we were capable, and thought that we should win those games. I just wasn't certain that we would be able to stay out of our own way. And no one could have guessed we would beat all of those teams, having lost a big offensive threat in the first game of the season. It's still much more about Clemson playing to its standard, than it is about the opponents, in my view.

The only thing that bothered me about UL was the road on short prep time. Clearly we prepared for them before that short week. I recorded the FSU/UM game. Golson and Cook have no clue what they are getting into at Death Valley.
Golson is, has and always will be a turnover machine. We've already faced two QBs that are better than him. I'm not the least bit worried about FSU and even go so far as to say that they will see chit that ain't real in a few weeks.
Clemson is no where close to topping out.
