Question for tnet (real) NCAAF analysts (NOT finebum)

Do you think Auburn or Georgia can beat Alabama?
Personally, I would think they have a better chance than NC State, Ga Tech, FSU beating us; or (projecting) Miami or Virginia Tech in the ACCCG.... or are my orange colored glasses deceiving me?

Georgia? No chance.
I think auburn pull it out this year though. They can beat UGA and Alabama.

Of the 2, I agree with you, but both are capable on a given day. It doesn't really matter about them, though. We are the most capable. Bring them on!

Agree. UGA's style this year has too much in common with Bama to win. Plus Saban doesn't take games against former assistants lightly. Auburn matches up well with Bama if they continue to throw the ball effectively. It will likely be a close game and they will need some luck but they can win at home.
A side note; UGA can beat Auburn and if that happens I think it hurts Auburn's chances with Bama. Although a win would make for a very interesting re-match for the SEC title.

While I think Auburn and Georgia are both solid teams...

Outside of Bama, Auburn, and Georgia, the rest of the $-EZ is a total train wreck.
That said, I think the jury is still out on both of these teams.
Auburn lost on the road to the only real tough opponent they have faced (Clemson), but have rebounded nicely since albeit against a relatively weak schedule (their current SOS ranking is 72nd). Auburn likely won't be tested again until they play at home against Georgia on 11/11 and at Alabama on 11/25.
Georgia is similar but they do have what would be considered a good win on the road against Notre Dame. Otherwise, like Auburn, the schedule hasn't been overly difficult (their current SOS ranking is 23rd). The only real challenge remaining on the UGa schedule is the 11/11 date at Auburn which could end-up being a preview of the $EC Championship game on 12/2.

Auburn's road games at LSU & Texas A&M will...

Be a decent indicator of how good they are. The Texas A&M one in particular...since they actually have a pulse on offense. Auburn may be good, but they are in no position as a program to overlook either of those games. I'm sure we'll start hearing that Auburn wants another shot at us any day now. ??

While I don't think Bama is all that, one thing they don't do all that often is lose. I'm not saying that it is impossible for one of those teams to beat Bama. I just don't think it's likely. More than likely Bama will find a way to get it done.

Both Georgia and Auburn can, and will, beat Alabama this year. Georgia will beat them in the SEC Championship Game but their loss to Auburn in the regular season will be the reason Alabama does not make it to the Playoffs this year. Clemson will beat Georgia for the National Championship. Go Tigers!!!!

Bama would get a mulligan or a "do-over" on the other one.

Do you think Alabama gets in to the Playoffs with 2 losses? That's hard for me to see at this point. But then, it is Alabama.....

No, not with two back-to-back losses that late in the season

but you can bet the talking heads like FineBum would still be campaigning for them to still get in.

I have Auburn favored over Bama and UGA. Both games are considered rivalry games and AU gets them both at home on the Plains.
Bama has all the edges over UGA but could possibly win. Not only does Bama hold the physiological advantages but it is the teams with a running threat at QB who has stud WRs making ridiculous catches that gives Bama issues. UGA does not fit that bill fully. This is the first year they have had any WRs worth mentioning, at all. I don't see that transitioning to a Mutts win, honestly.
