I keep seeing Trump saying over and over he wants Canada as our 51st state. Polls before the election in Canada showed they broke 80/20 in favor of Harris. If admitted to the Union, Canada would have a population slightly higher than California, and arguably lean as much or more dem. Canada would pick up about 44 House seats and lord knows how many electoral votes. This would ensure dems control DC. Trump could not get reelected if he tried. GOP could kiss any hopes of power in Congress goodbye.
So what's the plan for the MAGA folks? Do you support adding Canada as a state and just assume Trump appoints himself king or President for Life or something? Because assuming you support our Constitution, you're writing yourselves out of power adding Canada as a state. Really makes me nervous, which is why I'm asking the question. This is a stupid move, unless you plan to do stupid things to make it less stupid.

Canada is very strict on felons entering their country. The easiest solution for Trump is making it a state.

However, Canada’s government is cool with Canada as the jumping off point for drug runners and human traffickers to export their products to America.
The difference is that Canada’s crim8nals don’t get charged for their crimes.
