Too bad he ran the full court press on the coeds and his forced him to take the Texas job. The pay bump and prestige helped her forgive him.

and hadn't even made the NIT in 5 years.
Brad started with a team that had won 20+ games in each of the last 4 seasons and made the NCAAT in each of the last 3 seasons.

and made the NIT. Truth is, no Clemson coach has started with a better team than Brad except Foster, whose first two were paid for by Tates. And those were some great teams

I was just comparing OP to Brownell. I'm not old enough to remember Clemson basketball before Rick Barnes.

Barnes gave Clemson basketball an instant identity

his teams were brawlers, would beat you to death. His feud with Dean was the best thing that ever happened to Clemson basketball, as someone finally stood up to him. Oh...what....if?

Wideman and Jameson were beasts and we had a great balance of ball skills and shooting on the perimeter… miss those days, but basketball was played a lot differently then, even when we first hired Brad. His identity was tough defense and efficient offense, similar to UVA now, he changed that to be more like the game is played now, analytics, too many threes and no interior presence.

Purnell had 3 NCAA berths but zero wins. At least BB Won a game and had a run to the sweet 16.

Are you content with 3 bids and 1 Sweet 16 every 13 years?

The Sweet 16 is an outlier when you consider his average result, so, are in with continuing with Brad or are you with moving on?

I’ll take NCAA every year and losses in the first round most years vs what Brad has given us, an irrelevant program.

OP had a fun game to watch. CBB game is boring. I don't care if it was boring if we could win against 300Net teams and make a chance at the Tournament.
Clemson fans deserve more than 1 tournament every 5yrs. He made one by using Purnell's players.

yes, CBB game is as fun as watching paint dry, but it was tedious watching OPP run our guys ragged over the course of a season with a non-stop full court press.

One appearance in every six years?, How is this acceptable? I don't expect Clemson to go every year, but I think once out of three years would be the absolute bottom
