in Greenwood. Play opened with my 7th grade granddaughter singing a solo as the queen who apparently died in a shipwreck. She was later reincarnated as a dancer while the star of the show sang Let it Go. Grandson also sang in a group number and was an onstage announcer to explain changes in location of the scenes. Lots of talented kids to perform so well after a one week theater camp!

It's great to see kids doing positive things and working together, learning teamwork and other life skills. I went to a school play in April that a friend's grandson was in. Interesting to see the nerves, stuttering, and struggling to remember lines, then the joy at the end when they know they've accomplished something together. Unfortunately, somebody there got me sick for a few days.
