Why do dogs always race to the door when the doorbell rings? It's almost never for them.

Yep, and that was for right at 11 pounds. Go price rib eye at Food lion, they are $12 bucks a pound. A bone in rib eye is the same as prime rib. If you purchase the whole rib eye that was 11-lbs, it would cost $132 bucks. That means that a 11lb prime rib roast for $63 bucks is an awesome deal IMO;)

Better get down to Publix if you have one nearby. They are $5.79 a pound on sale.

And it's cooked already, or was it just saying what it's seasoned with???

Headed to the Platt springs road Publix right now and pick up a couple of them, I have a big freezer and a seal a meal machine. For that price, and for just me and the wife, we'll cut them up for our meal size, seal and freeze them!!! Thanks for the info!!!

Hey mechanic, you have my sincere appreciation for posting about the Prime Rib sale at Publix, just got back, and I purchased a $71-$72, and a $51 dollar prime rib roast smiling the entire time bc I haven't seen premium beef at that price in a very long time. Thinking about cutting the two biggest ones up into bone in Rib Eyes, and put the smallest one in the smoker on low heat without very much smoke for Christmas dinner, and thanks to your heads up about the price. Again, thank you, and much appreciated!!! Go Tigers, smack 10AC!!!!

Sounds like a deal!
But 52, did you forget to stock up on Duke's Mayo while at Publix, also - BOGO??
Ha!

Wife keeps us stocked up Duke's Mayo. That was an understanding the first time we ran out almost 25 years ago, always buy several jars of Duke's Mayo, and that I wouldn't eat any other brand, if it wasn't Duke's, it wasn't real Mayo, and we've never ran out again. But during the worst of covid, we came close, I went into several stores and bought up whatever size jars they had, and I don't think the wife has had to buy any since:)

Glad you were able to snag some! I might grab a couple more next week (grocery store sales run Wed to Wed), and I would not be surprised to see more grocery stores having them on sale this coming Wednesday.

Prime rib is put on sale only twice a year - Christmas and Easter.
Stock up accordingly. ?

I don't know how many they have in store, but there were people waiting on me to move so they could look or buy, and every cart I saw at register had one or more, and that was everyone I saw. I don't think they will last past the weekend!!!
