Bammer never led the entire game, and lost to a 2-loss (one of those losses was to GEORGIA FREAKING STATE) unranked team, and is still ranked #7.
Rocky Top U lost to a 2-loss unranked team, but remains in the top 10 at #8/9.
Nobody can see this and not recognize the almost comical absurdity.

This is why Dabo's culture of "the game we are playing this week is the most important" and "play to a standard and not to the opponent" is so important. Having this as a foundation of the culture is huge when it comes to obtaining and maintaining consistency in a program.
Nick Saban warned his teams of the public hype and adulation "rat poison". Apparently some on the Alabama team ate that rat poison after beating UGA and a feisty Vandy team took them to task. Ultimately credit Vandy - they showed up and played their hearts out and were rewarded for it.

Which teams should be ranked higher at this stage of the game than who the Coaches listed. I don't know. But, come November 1st the true good teams will rise to the top. Just keep winning.

TN will probably have 2 more losses. Bama and Georgia. That should eliminate them from he playoffs. 3 loss team and no SEC championship should keep them out.
