Apologize if this is supposed to be on another board.
Tomorrow morning I will be heading to an evaluation for a claim with the VA. After 19 years, I sought help for PTSD and depression stemming from events while in service. The VA will use the evaluation to determine whether or not to approve my claim and ultimately future treatment. I will be asked very personal questions about the events.
To be honest, I am nervous and scared. Tonight has been littered with anxiety and panic attacks.
If you could include me in your prayers this evening, I would greatly appreciate it.

I hope you aren’t going to where they sent me in Lexington- said I had no PTSD despite hearing about all my combat incidents. Don’t hide your anxiety or panic attacks when you get there- it probably is less about what you say and more about showing how you feel tonight. Make sure you let them know just how you feel tonight and how often and how bad the anxiety has been over time.

A scripture I hang on to when I’m really worried is Timothy 1:7 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I pray Jesus heals you mentally, Physically and spiritually and helps you as you work through the PTSD, it’s not possible without him but all things are possible with him.
