I DGAF what our ranking is right now after those two wins. Just keep winning. So what if we dropped in the polls, it's September. Wins over GT, Louisville and FSU will cure all of it.

A couple of things:
You do realize that our last five games prior to Troy were: Hated rival - on the road ACC Championship game - neutral site Orange Bowl - neutral site CFNC - neutal site 2016 Opener vs. "traditional SEC power" - on the road
Just how many games in a row can a team get mentally jacked up for? Little wonder we came out flat. Now do it again against SC State and it's time to be very worried!
Also, my kids are grown now, but if I had a young daughter today and she went into a public Women's room and a man went in too, I wouldn't hesitate to escort her into and out of that RR.

The HB2 law would force children who are transsexual to use the restroom of their birth gender. It would be illegal for a person who has had a sex change operation to use the restroom of their current gender. I have seen some interviews with some "decent" families that have a transsexual child the HB2 would require those parents to take that child into the restroom of their genetic gender not the one that they are dress as. There are children attending elementary schools in NC that all their class mates think are a boy or girl but they are not. The law would not allow the administration of that school to allow the child to use the restroom that most if not all of their class mates think they should use. Should the law force a child dressed as a girl to use the boy's restroom? Should the law force a child dressed as boy to use the girl's restroom.
This was a law written to drive the families of transgender children or adults to leave the state of NC. It was written to protect no one. It was written to persecute a few.
Most pedophiles and most sexual predators are heterosexual. I know of no transsexual pedophile. There may be some but I imagine they are rare, there are likely more pedophiles that are pastors or priests!

I really wonder how many children are really true transsexual? I have heard stories, including locally that two women who have adopted a male child is trying to convince him he is really a girl. Some adults just have their own agenda. look up Franklin Graham's letter to Swofford and the ACC presidents.

I also have heard stories like that but I have seen no interviews with real parents and real children like that. The interviews I have seen are real children and real parents struggling to raise a child that is different that the child's peers.
I see HB2 as a way to chase those that are "different" out of NC. Who does it protect? How many transsexuals have molested children in a bathroom in NC? How many transsexuals have raped someone in a bathroom in NC? They should have statistics to show why this bill is necessary! I have been around bigots all my life, and was bigoted against a lot of groups that were not like me before I became a Christian. I now believe I should love my neighbor. Part of that is opposing those who hate or fear those who are "different." I especially hate it when our legislatures pass laws based on those hates and fears. There is a difference between fear and danger. I do not think a child is any more in danger in a bathroom with a transgender person that any other person. But since I am aware of the bigotry in SC and NC, I am aware of the physical danger a transsexual may be in if forced to use the bathroom that matches the gender of their birth.

I don't think the fear is that transsexuals are necessarily the molesters or pedophiles. I think the fear is in giving free, unchallenged access to any restroom to anyone who claims to be transgender or transsexual (heterosexual or transsexual or whatever). School officials, law enforcement and the courts will be unable protect our children from ANYONE.
I don't see this as about persecuting those who are 'different', I see it as protecting ourselves (our children) from those who will now take advantage of this new open window. Oh, those pesky "unintended consequences"!

<< I think the fear is in giving free, unchallenged access to any restroom to anyone who claims to be transgender or transsexual (heterosexual or transsexual or whatever). School officials, law enforcement and the courts will be unable protect our children from ANYONE. >> The law gives them the right to challenge and berate but not arrest, not to label them as pedophile, in other words it only gives any authority the right to harass a transgender or transsexual.
Tell me this if a person were a pedophile, how would you or anyone else know that they were transexual or transgender, they would hide that just like they hide being a pedophile! This law protects no one except for those who would want to harass transgender or transsexuals.

I'm just responding to the first person...first of all preseason rankings don't mean a thing, this is a new season and a new journey, and as long as Clemson wins they will have accomplished their goal for that week...Second, this isn't a beauty contest, and talking about putting makeup on every week will do nothing more than get ur butt kicked on the field of play...Third it is never time to panic, only a time to man up and take ur lumps or take victory...Third Troy is well coaches and executes their game plan pretty well, and has some good athletes, ie Troy is pretty good...Fourth this is a new year, you can't allow yourself to be spoiled by previous success if u want to win today...Fifth the coaching staff is proven and there aren't bad habita, just this year's team learning how to play with each other ie this year's learning curve...not that coaches can't always improve just as players improve with experience, but I feel it's obvious the coaches preach good habits overall due to the success the Tigers have on the field, and in/out of the classroom...etc...
