Both of them are football players and so happens that they are big Dabo fans (minus religion).

I think you've been watching the news way too much if you truly think the Northeast/West Coast are heading in that direction. Sure, you'll see that stuff on the news, because the news will only show the worst of each side. When the conservatives look at liberals on their media sources, they see trans ANTIFA brats throwing Molotov cocktails through windows. When liberals look see conservatives on their media sources, they see a bunch of white guys carrying tiki torches and driving their Camaros into a crowd of people. Sure, both things have happened, but they represent only the very worst of both sides.
There's no doubt that the "Coastal Elite" cities are adopt more liberal policies...but they're also the wealthiest cities in the nation. You really think Wall St is going to become communist/socialist? The biggest investment cities in the country are also the most liberal: NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago. Tech, while it talks a big liberal game, is probably more libertarian at its core even if they're infuriatingly PC. The largest tech centers in the country? San Francisco, Boston, New York, Seattle. None of those cities are going to become socialist/communist anytime soon. There's too much money to be lost.

It really isn't but that is what the MSM wants you to believe. We are a country of 325 million people; less than 1% of the people are out in the streets pushing this Marxist crap. What you are seeing is all part of the "pressure from below" campaign which is a hallmark of Marxist activism. They want to give the impression that the vast majority support their agenda in order to lend support to their "pressure form above" ideological masters in Congress and the media.
