I know Lanning is fat and happy with Phil Knight money at Oregon and easily a top 3 coach right now. Could a program like Clemson sway someone like Lanning away?
Just thinking whenever the post Dabo era ever begins… not saying I’m wanting Dabo fired btw

Lanning has been absolutely destroyed in his 2 biggest games. he talks ways too much also for never having won anything. I would much rather have marcus freeman. but there is too much money at ND and Oregon.

Never won anything? 40-6, with finishes at 15, 6, and 3 in the AP. He's 11-6 against ranked opponents, with wins over five top ten teams in the last 3+ seasons. He's 2-1 in post season games. He's done a lot of winning. Lanning has only been at it as head coach since 2022. It usually takes time to get to the top of the mountain. But it looks like he's making his way up rather quickly.

No coach is leaving the B1G or SEC to come to Clemson unless it’s a bottom feeder like Vandy or Northwestern.
And Dan Lanning would never leave Oregon to come to Clemson.

Think he’s a fantastic coach and a coach that gets his players to give him everything they got.

No. Nothing can get Lanning away from Oregon at this point. He's got unlimited resources and is a top program in the conference with the most money (also, this money gap will be growing very shortly).
He turned down Alabama after being their first choice.
I do think it might be time for Dabo to leave.

Go after. With that said, I don’t think we would have a shot. He seems extremely happy at Oregon and he should be. He’s done very very well there and honestly I’m rooting for him and Oregon to win the Natty this year.
