He’s dangerous as he starts to scramble in a different way than sellers… the SMU qb looks downfield as he eludes pressure and makes plays with his arm, going to be another challenge trying to eliminate their guy from making the out of the ###### plays

That might have been a better strategy vs S.Carolina / LaNorris Sellers.

SMU QB Jennings isn’t a tackle breaker in the mode of Sellers (few are), but Jennings, IMO, is quicker / shiftier. We need great open field solo tacklers who also know not to turn loose on their coverage assignments. That’s asking too much of guys like Ricardo Jones and Tavon Feagin against SMU.

We very much need a full strength R.J.Muckens and enough smarts from our DC / LB hybrid coach to rotate in S.Brown often enough to keep Woodaz and B.Carter fully fresh throughout the game. Put another way, S.Brown, Woodaz, and Carter should have ~ equal number of snaps.

IMO.
