It was just reported that he would have been drafted somewhere around 50 but decided did not want to be drafted and sign with Nuggets who really wanted him.

Hence the whole point of the draft. Only thing you could do is threaten a holdout if drafted.

That's kinda how I thought it was. If not, why have a draft? If a player can choose a team, then why wouldn't they all do that.

I told a friend earlier this year that I did not see him getting drafted. He has no soft touch around the rim. I hate it for him.

A whole lot of unathletic flopping around the paint then deciding to throw up 3’s didn’t help the cause. Hope he gets a good big man coach to develop his game.

People shouldn’t make this regard PJ’s abilities.
This is about him being a Clemson player.
If he played for Duke, Kentucky, etc., he’d be a first-rounder
Now, even being a Clemson player I still thought he’d be drafted somewhere. I think that part is maybe his size. He is very strong, but against College players. He’s going to have to bulk up himself in the NBA even though he’s already strong.
Because he will need strength to even out lots of centers being taller.
The NBA doesn’t want PJ’s type anymore, they want the next Wembenyama.
PJ’s leadership should’ve carried him to be a draft pick.

yep, Coach Brownell has got to continue to get the program back to the NCAAT and make runs. Still can't believe a lot of experts don't have Clemson in their preseason top 25. Did they not watch how Chase Hunter and Sheff looked in their run?
