Yep- UGG for Friday night games and UGA is basically the season in week 1. Can we get in if we lose? Probably if its close and we dominate everyone else and say a resurgent Miami in CLT in December but it could come down to the wire.

While I’m glad the Tigers will be playing only two hours from my home in the Keystone State and I plan on making the trek, for those coming to western PA, don’t get too excited. The city is not pretty and parking can be a nightmare. The best sports bar, in my opinion, closest to the stadium is the Clark Bar, assuming it’s still open. The baseball stadium is attractive, but Heinz Field is nothing special, again my opinion. There should be plenty of seats for Tiger fans. Go Tigers!

With a home schedule like this our crumbling stadium will be certainly exposed if the only way to get a ticket will be on a cell phone! The high school bleachers on the Hill won’t be needed and fewer people will get to see our antique scoreboard at the top of the hill. On the plus side, there will be less people falling in Lot 5 and fewer people injured in the aisles in DV. If we just had one decent home game!

Thursday and Friday games should be for G-5 teams, they need the exposure, but would the network sell enough trucks and beers.

For all of us old guys that could care less about high school games, Friday night is perfect. All a Friday night Clemson game means is we have to DVR Magnum and Blue Bloods. Also not bad for an extra day's rest after the long trip.

but c'mon man! SYR is our big scare this upcoming season? It's no secret the ACC gets rocked for being a crappy football conference and went 0-6 in bowls this year. But this "upset special" just adds fuel to the fire.
Go Tigers!

My wife, then 9 yo grandson and I visited Syracuse for the infamous Friday game. Other than the game, our trip was great. We drove to Cooperstown one day and Niagara Falls the next day. Both destinations were great! Game day we arrived very early and had seats behind he Clemson bench. During the warmups it was very obvious that Kelly B could not run or cut. Kelly should never have started that game. The Cuse D played lights out and showed a lot of energy. The Cuse O ran the HUNH O to perfection and didn't allow our D to get set because they were caught looking at Coach V for the D call many times during the game. The Cuse fans were ok at first but when they started to win and the fans got liquored up the fans got ugly. We won't be going back.

Will be glad when Syracuse is just a pushover game again. Even when they don't have a strong team (last season I think?), they hang around and give us fits. Not sure if it's just a mental block, they outhustle us or what. In my opinion, the talent difference between the two teams should have the coaches' kids in by the 3rd quarter, but it never seems to go that way.
