Too low IMO. I think he knows about Parker and Woods, but I don't think he knows much about Capehart and Page. We have question marks regarding depth at DE, but I don't see 10 teams even close to the level of studs we have on the DL. Maybe he had OL and DL rankings flip flopped.

#17? WOW....Really Phil? The talent and depth alone at the DT position makes it a top 10 unit. I understand the concerns at DE but C'Mon Phil. I think by seasons end this unit will prove this ranking wrong.

He is normally spot on but if he thinks we have the 17th best DLine he’s miss informed and hasn’t done his research. That’s a top 5 line all day.

One of the advantages this 2024 team has early on will be lowered expectations from opponents and the press. I think it's a welcome change and useful for some of the more difficult early games.

I think we will have a great line but there are legitimate question marks at the end positions outside of Parker. 17 is too low, 12 or so would be reasonable.

I think he will, but he’s never played DE at the college level so it’s reasonable to label it as a question mark.

Ranking our Oline 9 and our Dline 17 is just odd
I think our DL is easily top 10, and the versatility of Peter Woods gives us a 3rd down switching from DE to DT is a dimension that hardly any team will be able to replicate.
Capehart and Page are legit DT’s. Page had over 200 snaps and Capehart had over 175. Honestly I couldn’t see any drop off whatsoever.
I won’t believe that we have a top 25 OL until I see them play.

We will see on week 1. I expect this to be a dominate DL. I think they are being discounted with the departure of TD, Ruke, and XT. Capehart showed what he can last year. Peyton Page made some plays. Tre Williams had kinda been forgotten with his injuries. All very good players with several years in the program. Woods and Parker are young stars but there will be one or two young stars that rise up to is year as well.

He may be thinking our O is going to score a lot of points. When we do this, we tend to play our 2nd, 3rd and 4th string D. The opposing teams tend to score on the players with less experience making the D's stats suffer.

Clemson's D-Line kicks the dog crap out of the O-Line

every day at practice. Clemson D-Line recruiting remains on another plane than O-Line recruiting. A swing and a miss by Steele, but we all are hoping Luke delivers a greatly improved O-Line in 2024.
