Anybody else think PW looked really heavy last night? Like 315 to 325 heavy. I’m sure conditioning has probably been an issue after the cheap shot injury

I honestly thought that after the UGA game. But yes, it looks like post injury he might have gain a couple of pounds, which is completely understandable.

I hope Lawson keeps growing at DE, allowing Pwoo to go back to DT. Silver lining of the injury.

Agree. I thought Lawson played his best game last night. I believe he was unranked as a hs recruit so it looks like we’ve done a great job of developing

He’s actually closer to 340 but listed 313. Conditioning isn’t an issue. He runs a 4.5 40. That’s Deshaun Watson fast. He is a freak athlete. William Perry on steroids. This narrative doesn’t float.

UGA attacked his edge with end arounds and jet sweeps. He didn’t have the speed to cover. Last night on 4th and 11, he was able to keep the QB contained and use his speed to close the gap. To be clear, the dude is clearly a freak… over 300 lbs and fast, twitchy, strong, etc. but he is just a bit too slow at the moment to play DE at an elite level. He is definitely a good DE but a phenomenal DT.

A 4.5 for Pwoo? I don’t think so.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not disputing he is a great athlete. BUTT, I'd have to personally see him run

that 4.5 at the weight he was last night before I would believe THAT! He looked a whole plate full of pork chops over the limit last night, and it showed.

He played inside a bunch last night. Agree he looked slow on the outside.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, there is no way he can play DE like that

I’m sure the injury is hampering him too, but he’s a step slow out there on that edge.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not sure what his 40 is, but I can say is

it was reported either here or over at TI that his bf to lean muscle mass was among the best on the team. He weighed in at 315, or there about, which was two pounds off from previous weigh-in, so I doubt he fluctuates that much.

He may have been limited in practice for a few weeks, but he most certainly was still conditioning himself with lower-impact conditioning like bike, pool, etc...

Normal people get boo boos and start eating like #### and stop working out, high level athletes work around it.

Lawson looked really good last night, move Woods back inside, he was too slow last night and missed a sack because of it.
