Honestly surprised it took this long. Hampton has flashed a lot this year.

Hampton is definitely the most underrated guy from the '24 class. That kid is a stud. I hope he continues to develop.

There was some random dude who has a podcast down in Florida and covers the recruiting down there. Anyway, that dude went off and couldn't say enough about what a steal Hampton was for Clemson when he committed. He was very excited and couldn't express enough about what an under the radar player Hampton was. The dude running the podcast wasn't a Clemson fan at all. He was just some dude who follows Florida HS football. Anyway, he was accurate it seems.

As the OP said… it shouldn’t have taken this long.

Hampton is our best cover CB and I really don’t think it’s close.

AV was great last year and he hasn’t been bad but he hasn’t been as good this year as last.

Hampton also hasn’t the size AV doesn’t and his recovery skills are outstanding.
