From EA’s website “ The Development Team worked to compile a list of the Top 25 Toughest Places to Play, factoring in historical stats such as home winning %, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more.”.
Home game attendance and active home winning streaks killed us. Texas a&m being >100k capacity is carrying them.

Memorial Stadium at #12 is like having the Beatles or Led Zeppelin outside of your Top 10 Bands of all time...Idiotic, and that is not an opinion, it is a scientific fact lol
Anywho, Texas A&M at #10 and they have lost to App State at home just a couple years ago and have a far worse record at home than does Clemson.
EA Sports is not in the game unlike that stupid saying! More like: EA Sports, we are a sorry bunch of dipwads LOL Its fun to rip on uninformed articles, this is nice cannon fodder to do just that.

Well. we went to Kyle Field and Won.. They came to DV and Lost. Hope that helps. As for the rest, I guess to be "Feared" We need to put om our jorts, tease up our mullets, pee on opposing visiting fan bases, yell profanities at old ladies, and smoke the reefers in the parking lots. And then promptly lose by 13 to anyone with a pulse. Because that's what most of those teams ahead of is do.

EASports invalidated their whole "toughest places to play" analysis with one sentence:
"...factoring in historical stats such as home winning %, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more."
If we go by home win%, the ACC big dogs jump to the top:
1. Ohio State 0.851
2. Florida St 0.813
3. Oklahoma 0.795
4. Florida 0.788
5. Clemson 0.765
OTOH, if we look at home record against the spread, weird things happen:
1. Baylor 58.30%
2. Kansas St 57.40%
3. Wash. St 57.40%
4. Virginia 56.90%
5. Utah 56.70%
6. Duke 56.50%

Maybe a bit hyperbolic but worth a TU.
The #12 is a bit of a head-scratcher because EA certainly made good use of the Hill and Howard's Rock in their trailer for this edition, and back in the <2014 series there was always a lot of attention to the "most exciting 25 seconds in college football" and also Memorial being one of the toughest places to play.
I do think the SEC and Big 10 Stadiums probably got more love having more "Big Game" homefields, which echoes your point on the ACC.

It says Toughest Place to Play, not toughest place to win. Can you imagine how hard it is to walk into that coot infested dumpster fire of a stadium, watch a cross-dressing chicken emerge from a shower, and play your best while dodging batteries and doo-doo ice the whole game?

One. Boomers don’t game much. Two, GenX is the gaming generation. We’ve lived from pong to PS5 and Xbox series X. We’re those guys with 1 million gamer points and 20k trophies. We’re the ones with the 15:1 kd ratios. We laugh as you cry because a ten year old is owning you. We laugh more when they claim we’re modding.
Also, the boomer generation did more than most in history. The most progress occurred under boomers. Boomers didn’t destroy this planet. Boomers used recycled glass bottles for drinks. Boomers used paper bags; they didn’t shower the world with disposable plastic like every other generation. Boomers bought two maybe three cars tops. All others buy two every three years on average. Boomer is a badge of honor. Not a negative connotation you children try to make it out to be. Be VERY clear, every generation since gen x have been the ones that destroyed the planet. All generations own some blame. It’s your disposable world that’s polluting the planet.

I quit gaming about 2 years ago, which was absolutely for the best and I intend to keep it that way. But this is definitely relatable and brings back some memories for sure: Mom coming in wanting to talk during a critical moment in the game and not understanding that you can't "pause" on multiplayer. Big time first-world problems, I know lol.
