Our offense should be loaded this season

As is usual for my summer routines, I rewatch most of the games for the previous season (including the ones hard to rewatch… Duke). Early season woes were very much attributable to youngsters making mistakes in some very bad situations. But as the season progressed, the offense seemed to find a groove and grow (albeit, still with some mistakes).
But, our WR/TE room will be made up of: Tyler Brown (healthy) Antonio Williams (healthy) Adam Randall (healthy) Troy Stellato Jake Brinningstool Bryant Wesco TJ Moore Christian Bentancur
With Mafah in the backfield & hopefully a more seasoned Cade at QB.
This offensive talent, coupled with the defensive talent, should be a tough out for any team including UGA.
Here’s to hoping they will be.

I’d assume Keith Adams Jr. with the occasional mix of Eziomume unless they decide to redshirt him.

I don’t even know if it needs “significant” improvement to do that. It just needs to be above average, and even average OL play should make a difference.

The Tigers will shock a lot of people this season. A sleepying "monster is soon to be revealed. Watch the Georgia game.

Starts up front. If the running lanes and protection improve, you may be right. Hope you are.

I think we will be improved at WR.

I expect our RB room to be similar, if not slightly worse.
I'm not convinced that our OL will be better.
I'm also not convinced that QB will be better.
We surely have some young talent, and with some injured guys back, we should have more talent overall. They are still largely unproven talent though.
Expecting a big jump on offense is risky.

RB - Mafah will do well. We need someone to step up. But with Shipley gone maybe we keep the ball a bit more.
OL - we will see if Luke as a gameday coach (all we've seen is him recruiting) is an improvement.
QB - just reduce mistakes and manage the game.
WR - loads of talent. who steps up? (the one that doesn't drop it) others will transfer at years end.
TE - in good hands. Briningstool will draw attention. setting up the WR's.
LB - In good hands. can't wait to see SB. But him in as a halfback in goal line situations.
DL - Will be interesting to see new blood. New leaders needed.
DE - in good hands. time for Denoff to shine.
Backfield will be hard to throw on.
Defense will struggle a bit at first. but find their footing.
Offence will need to find an identity soon. Can Riley get the gears going?

We need more out of the QB than reducing mistakes

and managing the game. We need to actually complete some passes that travel more than 5 yards past the LOS.

Basically another field goal per game moves us into the top 25 scoring offenses

in the nation last year. One more TD moves us into the top 10.
Injuries at WR and along the offensive line limited our offensive improvement over the course of the season, but with all of the returning starters in every position group along with some outstanding freshmen wide receivers plus a second year for all of them in a new offense, we should be much more efficient and explosive offensively.

w/ the trio to the West Coast(Jordan Palmer)? I know they couldn't send the whole pos group and it's voluntary but with the promise shown pre-injury + huge amt time missed, he seems like the ideal candidate for additional practice reps-

Solid experience at every position except RB after Mafah. Lots of talent at the skill positions coming in plus further developing in the program alongside.
Lots of folks looking healthy all over at the moment, which has been a rarity of late. Let's hope it stays that way.
Our D is going to shock people how good they are this year. They have been a quiet storm building ready to unleash the fury, and we are loaded there. It's almost unfair. They will be a great asset for Riley and Co to perform at their best.
Go Tigers!

That's a bunch of NFL dudes. That will free up some pretty speedy linebackers. I expect them to give Georgia's oline and QB fits.
We are going to be dominant and deep defensively.
We'll see more tempo this year offensively and wear some teams down.

I'll reserve my thoughts on the offense until we see if the Olineman can hold up against UGA and Cade can stop playing like a deer in the headlights.

I'm at more of a "hoping" phase with the offense right now. I hope they will be significantly better than the last 3 years, but the proofs in the puddin... Go Tigers!!! Beat Georgia!!!

I agree with much that you say but I have a serious concern about a QB. I've also watched all of last games in detail.

Someone needs to emerge as a safety valve in that WR corp.

Alot of options there of guys who've shown they can catch the ball in traffic but not consistently. Think back to those huge catches against Alabama and Ohio State's of the world..the mike williams the tee higgins even the jordan Leggets and hunter renfrows.. guys that made the play when we needed if even though everyone knew it was coming to them. I think they're there.. just wanna see them get open and be successful consistently. Especially in the rEd zone. If we have any deficiency its making the play deep in scoring territory. I'd love to see Briningstool be that box out and go get it guarantee this season.

Definitely with additions of Moore and Wesco. All other guys can stay healthy and Stellato has hands like glue. The kicker is QB. I have no trust in that guy though. Can’t read a defense is the ultimate killer. Everyone can call me whatever but that’s the whole issue in a nutshell. It shows every time he hits the field and he has no Brett Favre arm but takes BF chances. Turnover rate is way too high and pocket presence is horrible. Almost a mirror image of DJU except DJU has a cannon and Cade has better wheels. Both are all over the place with accuracy.

Briningstool has been a liability in the run game as well as the WR screen game. Betancur won’t see the field for the first half of the season. It’s the other TEs who may make or break the offense this year if they can block slightly more than adequately and sneak out for some downfield catches.
