Doesn't surprise me, but they are already looking at ASU. Man i'd love to win and watch heads roll thinking they were "back." At least scare them and give them a good game. Mickey said this am it's their biggest game since '09 Championship

They must not be to worried about the fact their offense has scored less than 20 pts in 3 of the last 4 games, only game over was 31 to terrible KY. I don't see them just running us out the stadium, win or lose...we'll make them sweat this one out.

I don't see us having a ton of success against their D. I think we need to keep the game around low 20s to have a shot.

Yeah. Ewers is no threat to run, so if we can slow down their run game and pick one or two off, we might be able to make it close. If it comes down to a field goal, I like our chances.

Ewers also has 90 less pass attempts than Cade and almost double the INTS, we can force him into mistakes. It should feel like Christmas for our D-Line facing a normal QB after what they've had to deal with the last 2 games.

They do have two elite WRs if Bond is healthy though

better WRs than anyone else we've faced all year. Their TE also has over 600 yards. Ewers himself doesn't concern me too much, but I'm not sure we can cover their receivers very well if we aren't getting consistent pressure on him. He's good enough to pick us apart if he has time in the pocket, but he's been largely ineffective in the games I've seen him get heated up. Not a game for Wes to be passive and play coverage.

Manning is a threat and will play some. Clemson will struggle with that defense.

If we play 4 quarters and make adjustments we have a good chance. From other topics I've read their comparing us to a slightly better Arkansas and aTm. Dabo's "little old Clemson" just might be able to get reused and we know that is one of his best cards he's got.

Saw their boards before playing Clemson. None of them gave Clemson respect. Most picked Ky in a cake walk over the Tigers adding a few jabs on top.

A friend of ours was seated next to a group of ND fans who flew in for the game and met at their seats. He said one of the first things they did after the hello's and how are you's was to agree on where they wanted to eat in Santa Clara. They then used their phones to make the reservations before our game even started.

I hope they were non-cancellable reservations.

Speaking as a Baylor grad.

They'll swagger into town and act like they own the King Ranch. They could be 0-11 and still they'll swagger.

It is kinda funny. Clemson fans are mostly always gracious and happy to be there. I love giving them the bless your heart after we whip them on the field. Ohio State still believes they’re better than us when the head to head shows a domination by Clemson. One fluke game win and they’re back on top. I was praying we would draw OSU first round because sending them home is what we do.

Speaking as a 7th generation Texan who grew up in Austin, this is very true. They have a football history, in the modern college football era, that rivals Washington, but if you heard them talk about it, they're more prestigious than Bama.

I agree. I’ve been saying it here for about as long as I’ve been here. They remind me of the Tarholes, that same arrogant dismissive attitude.

Making an analogy about Texas fans that involves King Ranch.

As a former Texas resident, I get it. Well done.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself! Texas is not back, this isn't the Texas teams of the late , great Darryl Royal. If they had another Earl Campbell, I would be more worried, but as it stands now I like our chances, CLEMSON 27 - The fighting McConaughey's 20!

Agreed! The only thing we have to fear is fear itself! Oh, and getting our butt whipped on a football field! Oh, and drones hovering over New Jersey. Wait, come to think about about it, there's a sh!t ton to worry about. Now where did Aunt Bessie keep those worry beads....

I'd also point out that these reporters that they listed clearly don't watch football. Nobody is scoring 30+ on Texas, so anyone predicting Clemson or ASU to do so is not paying attention, and Texas is also stopping themselves from scoring every week. So unless Arch Manning plays a lot against Clemson, I honestly see this as a "first to break 20 points wins" type of game.

Well Schlabaugh is normally pretty unbiased. He sees Texas 24-20. If we are in a game that tight with 5 or 6 minutes to go I like our chances of winning.
