They’ve averaged 492ypg in their last 5 games. Seems like the first half was a bit lower than average for them. Most of those yards were generated in the first quarter, so after taking into account the trend, I’m willing to bet they’ll be lucky to finish at 300 at the end of regulation.

Haven't you figured out yet that Tigernet is the most toxic board out there? It's pure cancer. Most of the posters here never went to the school (maybe never even set foot on campus), and root for the team because it wins. If you say anything insinuating something other than Clemson being the greatest team to ever put on cleats, then you're going to get thumbed to oblivion. I've rooted for Clemson since I was 4 and went to school there, but I completely agree with you. Clemson's defense is struggling.
And I think that's okay. This is possibly the best scrambling QB in the country. Clemson will likely play Ohio State at some point. Fields is similar and I'd rather they struggle now and hopefully get the kinks out now than in the playoffs.

I blame the coach on that. DB should stay on wideout and rush Muse instead and you have a completely different outcome and favorable matchup in both areas on that play.
Boneheaded fancy blitz when simple D gets the job done right there.

Not sure about the "abused" part... but our DL seems to be locking out and reading a lot. Not just blindly rushing upfield.
Effective as far as I can tell. Oh, and the stats and score seem to support me, too.
Just sayin'.
