You people that think these polls don’t matter really don’t understand how this works. Bias is a real thing and everytime ESPn or these polls do these things, the committee follows suit.

The committee woukd never admit to it but I bet they look at the AP polls and use it as the guideline to start making their own top 25

That's egregious. Jon Wilner also has Clemson ranked super low, as usual for him. Pete Yanity has Clemson at #11, but he's also 1 of the 2 voters who ranked the coots.

No doubt; perception is reality.
We all get that or at least most of us get that 100%. But, people who contend like "it's everything" are not in a good place i.m.o.
Keep winning games and eventually get to the ACC championship game! Win that game against what should be a highly-rated team(looking like Miami). And, it doesn't matter!
For whatever, "I don't get about what an AP Writer says, I pick up on my understanding that the playoff committee would have more than a hard time leaving a 1-loss Clemson out"!
So, when people say, it doesn't matter: keep that in mind. The playoff committee wants to look as unbiased as possible. Plus, there are rules in place that would get Clemson in, if the Tigers keep winning. All that said, "No, I do not care what this hater or any other AP voter says"!
