At the end of the fourth quarter when the game was on the line you made the big plays. You deserved to win irrespective of some controversial officiating.

Buckeyes played a great game! What a great team! Coaching also called a great game, especially early.
I have a feeling you guys will be back for round II next year!

Thanks. As Dobbins said afterward you should make enough plays that officials arent a factor anyway. Also having to settle for fg's instead of td's enabled us to come back

Tiger_swimmer -
I too would like to say congratulations To the Tigers and their fans. Unfortunately every fan base has a 5% idiot factor. As a Buckeye fan I can say that was one heck of a game - Do I wish the outcome was different - Yes
Can say all of the players on that field have every last bit of themselves - at the end of the day that is all you can ask
So Congratulations again and good luck in N’Orleans

TD if it happened in the endzone. It would be a great defensive play knocking the ball out after the catch. Sure if you play it at 4 to 1 speed it looks like he had the ball for a couple seconds, but he didn't.

All this crap about officiating is straight up loser-speak. O-4-I-O is a great team, but just couldn’t get it done. Those calls had nothing to do with the game when they had the lead with 3 min to go and us having to go 90+ yds.

Only thing controversial in my eyes was a no call on Young for trying to twist TL's head off after he had taken a textbook targeting hit and looked like he blacked out for a few secs. Your team blew it's wad early with all the headhunting, sh!t talking, and cute hurry up schemes and had nothing left in the tank to finish. THAT is why you aren't a championship program.
I'm done with thinking about Bucknuts. You guys are sore losers and I knew you'd find something "controversial" if you lost....whether it was Fields' knee brace, or whining about the officials (as your CBs have fist fulls of our receivers' jerseys on EVERY route and it doesn't get called). It's who you are as a fanbase, and who you have been for as long as I remember with Woody Hayes.
Thanks for the grats, but I seriously doubt you mean it.

I would not come your board and say Congratulations if I did not mean it. I have nothing but respect for your team and their accomplishments.
I was not one who derided your schedule - schedules are made out 5 years in advance and you play th dream in front of you. Clemson did that and won!
So I am being gracious in defeat and again say congratulations- good luck in NCG!!!!
One heck of a game wasn’t it.

I commend you for coming on here, and we all appreciate your sportsmanship. Just stop it with the “controversial calls” crap. OSU had Clemson dead to rights and couldn’t put them away. Good luck next year, I don’t think you guys are just a flash in the pan.

Only controversial call to me was the fumble recovery call. Should not have used plural. Never seen anyone with possession for 4 or 5 steps, lose the ball and it not being called a fumble. Shouldn't have mattered though because OSU just needed one stop at the end of the 4th quarter or 23 yards at the end of the game to win and couldn't do it. When it counted Clemson was up to the task.

It’s not about the number of steps, it’s making a football move to secure possession. The OSU defender prevented that. The call was correct per the way the rule is stated.

Either it was incomplete or Ross was down due to stopped forward progress since the defenders drive him backwards from the point where he touched the ball.
The result is the same - Clemson punts.

Never have seen a call like thi ever. If receiver had broken free milliseconds before fumble, doubt that Clemson fans would agree that forward progress had stopped.

OSU has only themselves to blame

Punch the ball into the endzone rather than kicking FG’s and the game is likely out of reach at halftime. Can’t blame the officials for that.

I was sore just watching that game. Physical, physical, physical.
I saw two very good teams play their hearts out, too bad someone had to lose.

agreed with the calls. Don’t be that guy. The difference in the game was clutch play by Trevor Lawrence. The Bucs had a great team to be proud of this year. I was impressed by the players and their play. I’m not impressed with coaches and fans blaming the loss on referees when in fact the referees made the right calls.

close, but in real speed it was clear he never truly possessed the ball. Anything else? I didnt see anything else close to being incorrect. Please tell your fellow Buckeyes, and especially your immature head coach, to grow up. You scored 7 points after jumping up by 16. We missed a FG but still clearly took the game over when it mattered. Please let go of the "controversy" nonsense. You guys are an awesome team, but you should be embarrassed of your whining fanbase and head coach.
