Oh ghesh. I think cam is banged up too. When he hit his double 2 rbi he casually took first. Which if just precautions, it should be. We need everyone healthy for may and june.

Cam can't throw at all. I don't think his shoulder is 100%.

I’m saying. I’m wondering if he has permanently damaged that shoulder. In no world does it take this long to get back right

I honestly think he did because he absolutely cant throw and his bat speed is way slower than what it used to be. If he did that’s going to taint EBs legacy by letting him play last year. I understand it was 100% Cams decision but sometimes you gotta make the call for them.

Shoulders are very tricky and can often times take longer than 12 months. I am not surprised he isn't 100% considering he is less than a year from surgery still.
I am a little surprised he hasn't been in the DH spot more this year.

I can 100% confirm this is true. I played semi pro ball until I was 27. I destroyed my shoulder and had to have a pretty serious shoulder surgery. They had to pull muscles across the joint and anchor them with carbon fiber. They also removed a bone spur about an inch long shaped like a sharks tooth (from over throwing) which shredded all the soft tissue. I got lucky and had the Atlanta Braves surgeon do the work. Every bit of soft tissue was destroyed. My shoulder was so unstable it would fall out of joint just walking! I used to gun people that would tag up from left field trying to get home and make it look easy. Not after surgery. Better than average but no longer elite. My arm was “pinned” to my chest for a year! I could move it maybe six inches. I went back and played ball but was never the same. 99% of the doctors I saw said I’d never be able to throw a rock through glass again. Thank God this great surgeon saw this injury regularly and patched me up. It’s very painful 25 years later. But, I have full range of motion and can still throw.

It absolutley can take up to 18 months to fully recover from labrum surgery. He's not 100%, but he has made some strong throws that tells me he's close. Made on in the SC series that was a dart and another on that I can't remember the game.

Playing too many games. Very little time for the players to rest but this team is good when healthy.

Next man up...time for Wentworth, Bell, and Samol to step up. Don't think McGovern is much of a loss anyways...

Samol is basically a 6’7 McGovern now, how he went from 97mph to 88mph is wild

The speeds of samol and bell and gill (when he is back) will come back. It takes time.
Cam will be back soon still taking time. I have seems improvements from throwing during games bc beginning of season it wasn’t great
