It’s a strange phenomenon when things are going a bad a win can feel bad. Perhaps it’s because many issues haven’t been fixed. Sammy Brown made an immediate impact. I still don’t think we have any business in the CFP. Another ACCC would be great but we’re still so far away.

We won the game! Clemson does not have the will or money to acquire all the top talent to produce those results weekly. The bumpy rides and results are the norm for the foreseable future. Think fsu and Michigan are happy this morning?

I like a lot feel Goodwin and Conn need to go, but last night definitely didn't feel like a loss. Yes people will question our special teams, why Sammy wasn't a starter sooner, why we only use one RB but end of the day it was a great win on the road when everyone counted us out.

never once were we "outta the game" yesterday. I expect no different outcome vs Pitt..........as they too have been propped up by an atrocious ACC.
the teams we've beaten have combined for a total of 26 wins on the season. The only possible threat left on our schedule MAY BE South Carolina, but I still don't think they can beat us at home.
9-10 wins.......as I predicted before the season..........Dabo & Fans think all is well..........nothing to change the real issues w/ our program in Dabo's mind............lather, rinse, repeat.......

Dabo refuses to address the main issues. He's plucked some low hanging fruit (ie....Oline coach, OC hire & Fire, QB), but ignores what he chooses to.

Well he went and got Riley and Luke. 2 obvious issues. I’m not feeling where you are saying he will not make changes? You have to figure someone will be taking care of special teams the rest of the way or there will be a change at that coaching spot as well at the end of the season.
At this point with all the blocks I do not even have a feel of what we have in a field goal kicker.

So you think over haul every year? Get real! Just looking for the negatives imo. 2 good not sure if they were great hires and that does not include hiring Rumph.
Not sure who you want gone? I say email Dabo, you seem like you have a good read on what is going on.

and how back in the 1970s we would’ve been thrilled to win 10 games. We would be given more of the “we should be grateful” talk and reminded that Dabo is the best thing to happen to Clemson football.
Then we would get excited about next season, and when we continue to underachieve, be reminded once again that things could be worse and we are being unreasonable to expect more.

Need to stick with the 4-3 on defense. Gives us a lot better chance in stopping the run and gives us an extra body on the DL to get in when needed. Not sure who the weak link to not start would be but a few have struggled with injuries, so that decision may not be to hard.

It looked a lot like more of a 4-3 on most downs. In listening to the announcers on radio they made a big deal on when we went nickel. Either way much better seeing I was really concerned with their RB1.

If we could just get “special” on special teams I believe that would be a huge boost to this year’s team. Did have a fantastic punt last night but it’s hard to win when you cannot consistently make a field goal or flip the field when needed. 2nd half looked much better, hopefully great second half adjustments made by the coaches, and that was very encouraging in seeing a different team after half.
Sammy Brown is way too good to not be starting. Will he make rookie mistakes, yes, but his good plays trump the downside imo.

Yeah, we are a good team, but not a championship team. Too many weak spots, and not enough quality upperclassman depth. It would be great if we could somehow win out and land a decent bowl game.

Honestly, I don't think so. This year already has been chaotic. Transfer portal is making it tougher to be THE dominant team.
Heck, the 4-team playoff at the end was actually the most competitive compared to most years. I think folks thinking we're going to see UGA-TCU beat downs regularly are going to be pleasantly surprised.
If I'm rooting for anything it's for B1G and SEC teams to be dominated and that's a fatt chance if we're being honest. Top 4 teams may be from those two conferences this year but I dont think anyone is getting beat like a drum this year - just too unpredictable.

I hope you are right but there were definitely some abysmal semi’s, and my first thought when they said 12 was it’s definitely about the money because we all know that there are only 4-5 teams that have a legitimate shot at the whole deal. More football is a good thing though.

I was thrilled with that win and thrilled we finally started one of our most athletically gifted players.
Hate to say it but I was kind of 50/50 as to whether we would win considering he athletic ability of Drones and their freshman tailback. And it was very uplifting to see the defense as whole play so well.

I was expecting a loss, so I am happy with a win. Still much to improve on. I am most disappointed that Special Teams keeps getting ignored by the coaches. I wish there was a way we could compete for and win the ACC but go to a good non playoff bowl. I have all feelings we will be embarrassed in a Playoff game

I don’t think some of you “fans “ have experienced enough losses to know how they really feel.
Rant over. Go Tigers!!!!

No worries, one hundred years from now, when some Clemson Freshman is perusing Clemson football history for a class paper……it’ll still be listed as a “W” and feelings won’t be mentioned.
The less attractive side of that coin is, coots FEEL like they won, when they lost by 3 touchdowns.
